I think twitter and instagram are great for educational use. Since many of us use these websites, we could use them for school. There can be tweets of the homework, and we can use instagram to post videos and photos of assignments and lessons. We can also use these two sites for our Friday technology article. There are many ways we can use these social media sites in the means of education.

Discussion Questions
- Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
- I selected these sites because the content interested me, so i decided to subscribe to them.
- Was it easy to find feeds and to subscribe to them?
- Somewhat. Not a lot of websites have RSS feeds so it was difficult to find some with them.
- Which sites were your favorites? My favorites were the UEFA, Rolling Stone, and Glamour.
- What else can you use RSS feeds for? You can use it just to read information from one source instead of many.
- How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?
- Somewhat likely. I do think it is an interesting and easier way to read articles.

Seeing people that need help ignite my desire to help make the world a better place. Knowing that the good that i can do for someone can be the first step to change the world. If good deeds started to spread around the world, the problems people face of this world can go away. I can use my life goals to not only help me in my own life, but to give aid to others in need in the community. Helping our community is a good way to start seeing a difference. We have to do what we seek in the world to watch it happen before our eyes. If we want good in this world, we have to be good to others. That involves helping them in need, being a friend, and being a person of character towards others.

Wikis 10/29/13
- How can a wiki be used on your current classes? Students can use it for presentations or projects. They can also use it to help them in classes and use them as study guides. For example, if there is a vocab quiz coming up in english class, a student can create a vocabulary list and use it as a study guide.
- What are the benefits of using a wiki? Using wikis are more organized and others that share the wiki document can change any detail at any time. They are better than using emails. They are easier to use. With emails there is a lot of clutter and no organization.
- How can we create one in this class and utilize it? We can use wikis to present projects to the class. We can use it for our friday assignment. We can use it to create documents in this class.
- What experience do you have using or creating wikis? I've never created a wiki of my own before.

If I was in charge of adding a new course to the school curriculum, I would add a fashion class. The fashion course would involve the students creating different pieces of clothing. The course could give students the opportunity to learn how to sew and make clothes. We could also incorporate art in this class by using colors and designs and determine what colors would work well together on an outfit. This is also a good class for those who see themselves in the fashion career. Also, learning how to sew can be helpful in the future. For example, if a piece of clothing ever rips, it may be fixed by sewing. Sewing is a good skill to have, which is why this is a good idea for a new class.
This would be a full year class. In the classroom there could be mannequins so it may be easier for students to design outfits. Near the end of the course, students can create different outfits and showcase them in a fashion show to demonstrate what they've learned in the course. The teacher can give students a grade based on their work.

Multimedia Post: Ms. Iannacco
For my sophmore year, I am taking Italian 2 with Ms. Iannacco. Ms. Iannacco is one of the italian teachers in WRHS. This is her second year teaching at our school. She teaches from Italian 1 to Italian 4.
This year I expect to learn more about the italian language than last year. I expect to expand my knowledge of the language.
The interesting aspects of this class are the class trips. Italian 2 students are able to go on a field trip to see an opera in New York.
We use technology in this class by doing our homework every night on a website called Vista Higher Learning. This is a website where students taking the italian course do their homework to review what they've learned that day. The website provides information for the instructor's account so they can see which students have done their homework and which students have not. Students are assigned a couple assignments to complete on the website. They have 3 attempts to do each assignment for a 100% grade. It is a great way to incorporate technology into italian class.

What September 11 means to me
September 11,2001 was a tragic day in American history. Many have lost their lives that day. 9-11 should be a day of remembrance. Even though it was a tragic day, it is a reminder that we, as a country, can stick together and help each other even during the most difficult of times. It is a day to remember the firefighters that ran into the buildings to save the lives of others. It is crazy to think that these people ran into buildings to save people they didn't even know. The people in the building had no idea this would happen. They were just everyday people like you and me. They were parents, they were brothers, they were sisters, they were someone's child. We should honor and remember those that lost their lives that day.
